La Ronde Poster

Some of you might remember some posts I made on Twitter and Facebook about drawing naughty things. Well, those drawings turned into a full on original painting for this poster. This was easily one of the most fun projects I've ever worked on. Thank you to DalTheatre for letting me be free to swag out once again. Oh and check out the show. DalTheatre Season 2011-12 Brochure

I had the pleasure of working on the season brochure/poster for DalTheatre again this year. The great thing about working on these projects is that I really get to push myself as an illustrator. I'm actually finding that the amount of design time I put into this work pales in comparison to the time that  goes into planning and art work creation. Shown below is the final art work and some of the process sketches that helped me to the design solution I chose.
