Recently, Nike Basketball took an old and run down gym called Masaryk that is located in New York's Lower East Side and re-modeled it into the ultimate basketball facility, fully stocked with balls, equipment, a beautiful court and even on-site trainers. They have given free access to this gym to a select group of individuals who Nike Basketball considers to be, "part of their extended family". The point is to give them access to great basketball during the winter when it's too cold to hit the outdoor black tops. Playing competitive basketball while networking with some of the top creative industry folk in New York would be an amazing experience. Geesh. Like New York needs another reason to make me wanna live there. Check the video below for an interview with one of the lucky Masaryk members.
