In the last 2 weeks I've been hearing this name J. Cole come up a lot. J. Cole's dope J. Cole's signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label yada yada. Finally I decided to see what the hype was about for myself and was blown away. He's another crazy talent coming out of North Carolina and dude is real. The concept behind his "The Warm Up" mixtape illustrates the struggle of a kid who didn't make the basketball team last year but he's training hard to make sure he makes it this year. He relates this to his struggle in the rap game so far. The warm up must have paid off because this year he DID make the team.
